Job Summary
Assist in managing the drive-in restaurant’s operations under the General Manager, including training and supporting Team Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops; direct and assign staff to meet operational standards; monitor compliance with policies; perform opening/closing duties; manage staffing and inventory levels and food cost control; complete weekly inventory; assist with administrative duties and documentation; reinforce customer service focus and promptly address guest requests and complaints. Requires flexible hours and prior restaurant management experience; strong communication, multitasking, and leadership skills to drive sales and develop the team.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required
- Experience running shifts without supervision
- General knowledge and understanding of the restaurant industry or retail operations required
- Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays
- Willingness to abide by appearance, uniform and hygiene standards at SONIC
