Job Summary
Train, manage, direct, coach, lead, and assign drive-in employees during shifts while overseeing operations to provide an optimal guest experience. Manage staffing levels, perform opening and closing duties, and handle or escalate guest and employee issues. Monitor food, labor, paper, and inventory to maximize cost-control and operational efficiency. Assist with record preparation, enforce company policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws, and perform all station duties including fountain, grill, switchboard, and drive-thru as necessary. Complete regular cleaning and sanitation duties such as trash disposal, mopping, dishwashing, and equipment sanitizing. Move and stock food products weighing up to 50 pounds. Work minimum 30 hours per week with irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- General restaurant or retail knowledge
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Basic computer, math, and reading skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
- Regular attendance

- Ability to move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to perform continuous standing, bending, reaching, moving, stooping, stretching, and lifting in a restaurant environment
- Ability to handle frequent exposure to heat and hot liquid shortening while cooking
- Ability to handle frequent exposure to freezer when stocking food items
- Ability to handle occasional exposure to extreme temperatures based on variable weather conditions
