Job Summary
Oversee drive-in operations during shifts and assist with leading and managing employees. Train, coach, and direct drive-in staff, monitor staffing levels, and perform opening and/or closing duties to ensure an optimal guest experience. Escalate guest and employee issues appropriately, supervise cost-control efforts across food, labor, and inventory, and maintain records and compliance with company policies and applicable laws. Execute all station duties (fountain & frozen, dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, switchboard, expeditor, food prep, and drive-thru if applicable) as needed to meet operational standards, while engaging in regular sanitation tasks and ensuring attendance. Additional duties may include moving and stocking food products up to 50 pounds and performing other job-related responsibilities. Time/Shift expectations involve a minimum of 30 hours per week with irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience
- General restaurant or retail knowledge
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Basic computer, math, and reading skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
- Regular attendance
