Job Summary
Assistant Manager needed to assist in leading and managing drive-in operations and employees during shifts. Responsibilities include training, directing, coaching, and supervising staff; managing staffing levels; performing opening/closing duties; addressing guest and employee concerns; monitoring costs and inventory to maximize efficiency and quality; maintaining records; ensuring compliance with policies, laws, and standards; performing station duties across fountain, grill, expeditor, and drive-thru as needed; and ensuring sanitation and general upkeep. Requires minimum 30 hours per week with irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays; prior restaurant or retail management experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
