Job Summary
Assistant Manager responsible for leading drive-in operations and staff during shifts, including training and directing employees, managing staffing, opening/closing duties, handling guest and employee issues, monitoring food, labor, and inventory for cost-control and quality, maintaining records, ensuring policy and legal compliance, and performing station duties across fountain, grill, expeditor, and drive-thru while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness; requires strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time-management skills; minimum 30 hours per week with irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- General restaurant or retail knowledge
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
