Assistant Manager

Job Summary
Assist with leading and managing the drive-in’s operations and employees during shifts; train, coach, and direct drive-in employees; lead operations to provide an optimal guest experience; manage staffing, perform opening/closing duties, handle guest and employee issues, monitor cost-control and inventory, maintain records, ensure policy compliance, and perform all station duties as needed to meet operational standards; maintain sanitation and safety standards and participate in ongoing cleaning and maintenance; maintain attendance and support additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Basic computer, math, and reading skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
- Regular attendance
- Time/Shift Expectations: Minimum of 30 hours per week; irregular hours; nights; weekends; and holidays
