Job Summary
Assistant Manager to assist with leading and managing drive-in operations and employees during shifts. Responsibilities include training, directing, and coaching drive-in staff; leading operations to ensure optimal guest experience; staffing management; opening/closing duties; handling guest and employee issues; monitoring drive-in costs and inventory; maintaining records and compliance with policies, procedures, and laws; performing a variety of station duties and sanitation tasks; and maintaining regular attendance. Requires hospitality/retail management experience and strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; 30+ hours per week with irregular nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- At least six months of restaurant management experience or one year of retail management experience
- Experience running a restaurant shift without supervision
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local labor and employment laws (e.g., wage and hour laws; EEO laws, etc.)
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety laws and regulations
- Basic computer, math, and reading skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving, multi-tasking, decision-making, leadership, time-management, and conflict-resolution skills
