Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include assisting in maintaining cleanliness standards, executing sales and promotions, processing register functions, directing merchandise presentation, achieving sales goals, and training associates. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication, organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and a customer-oriented approach, with a minimum of 2 years of retail leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department
Additional Requirements
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
