Job Summary
Assistant Manager at SNIPES will fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager, drive sales and profitability, ensure store standards for cleanliness and merchandise presentation, supervise register and Aptos functions, train associates, and lead the team to meet or exceed sales plans. Responsibilities include executing floor sets and promotions, directing visual merchandising, processing markdowns/transfers, ensuring loss prevention, and communicating operational goals. Requires retail leadership experience, strong communication, and a high school diploma (college degree a plus). On-site, full-time role in Charlotte, NC.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
