Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring the store meets cleanliness standards, setting up sales/promotions, processing register functions, managing merchandise presentation, driving sales and profitability, and accurately training associates. The ideal candidate will possess leadership and problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a team-oriented approach, with at least 2 years of retail leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- College degree a plus but not required
