Job Summary
Assistant Manager at SNIPES fully manages store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring store cleanliness on sales floor and stockroom, setting up promotions with proper signing, processing register functions, executing floor set and merchandise presentation, directing merchandise presentation to Visual Merchandising standards, assessing customer merchandise needs and whether the assortment meets those needs, coordinating markdowns and transfers, driving sales and profitability to meet goals, communicating operational goals to the team, and training associates in register/Aptos functions while safeguarding company funds. Requires leadership, strong communication, organizational skills, problem solving, team-building, and ability to stand for long periods; physical capability to lift 15-30 pounds. Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds.
