Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager, oversee register functions and promotions, ensure merchandising and floor sets meet Visual Merchandising standards, drive sales and profitability, train associates on register/Aptos functions, and monitor performance toward sales goals while maintaining store security per policy.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department a plus
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift.
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds.
