Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include ensuring cleanliness standards are met, setting up sales and promotions, processing register functions, assisting with merchandise presentation, and driving sales and profitability. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, at least 2 years of retail leadership experience, and excellent communication abilities. You must be able to lift between 15-30 pounds and stand for long periods throughout shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
