Job Summary
Manage store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards for the sales floor and stockroom. Effectively set up sales and promotions with proper signing, process register functions, and demonstrate timely execution of floor set guides and Visual Merchandising standards. Recognize customer merchandise needs, communicate operational goals to maximize team contributions, and monitor individual performance metrics including sales volume and loss prevention. Assist with markdowns, transfers, and training associates on register and Aptos functions while securing company funds per policy. Requires standing for long periods, lifting 15-30 pounds, and responding to store alarms as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- At least 2+ years' experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree a plus but not required
- At least 2+ years' experience in retail leadership as a Department a plus
