Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will manage store staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in maintaining store standards, executing sales promotions, processing register functions, and ensuring compliance with visual merchandising standards. You will also communicate operational goals, monitor individual performance in sales, train associates, and secure company funds. Key qualifications include strong customer service skills, excellent communication, and a problem-solving orientation. A high school diploma is required, with retail leadership experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem-solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager
- College degree is a plus
