Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for managing the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Key responsibilities include ensuring store cleanliness standards are met, setting up sales and promotions, processing register functions, driving sales and profitability, and training associates. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership abilities, excellent customer service skills, and effective communication. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with at least 2 years of retail leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership
- College degree
