Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager, you will fully manage the store’s staff and operations in the absence of the Store Manager. Responsibilities include assisting the Store Manager in ensuring store cleanliness, setting up sales/promotions, processing register functions, and maintaining merchandise presentation. The role requires strong leadership in driving sales, effective communication, and training associates on operational tasks. Ideal candidates should possess strong customer service and problem-solving skills while being adaptable and goal-oriented.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong drive to achieve results
- Takes initiative and has problem solving skills
- Able to respond to store alarm problems as needed
Desired Qualifications
- At least 2+ years’ experience in retail leadership as an Assistant Manager or Department
- College degree
Additional Requirements
- Candidate will be required to stand for long periods of time throughout their shift
- Lifting between 15-30 pounds
