Job Summary
Lead sensor and GLP development to create suitable customer products while optimizing product costs and managing series support activities. Collaborate closely with IDN and IPN teams to drive end-to-end engineering solutions. Apply proficiency in development tools and Q tools including BES Q basics, ECR, RACE, and 8D to validate design, manufacturing processes, and material influences. Utilize advanced functional knowledge of IC engines and sensors to perform tolerance calculations, design of experiments, and reliability validation. Communicate proactively with stakeholders and solve complex problems to ensure successful product delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive)
- 1-5 years relevant experience
- Proficient knowledge of development tools and Q tools (BES Q basics, ECR, RACE, Concessions, 8D,Focus matrix, DRBFM, FMEA, Requirements engineering, hazard list, Procodex, TCD, deviation check list, BOM, customer drawing, B number creation, sample order process, etc.)
- Proficient understanding of product and sub-component specific design, manufacturing process,function, material influence and reliability and the validation of these characteristics
- Advanced functional overview of IC engines and sensors
- Advanced competence in tolerance calculations, material expertise, DoE
- Competent in precise and transparent communication
- Proficient pro-active communication and networking within team and stakeholders
- Competent in Problem solving
