Job Summary
Drive Contract Farming expansion and potato procurement across Hooghly, West Midnapore, and Jhargram to secure quality supply for Lay's and Uncle chips. Lead regional teams in developing farmer networks, managing cold storage inventory, and ensuring uninterrupted plant deliveries while monitoring crop quality parameters. Build strategic partnerships with government agencies, FPOs, and aggregators to strengthen program scalability and compliance. Execute sustainability initiatives and digital agriculture tools to optimize field operations and drive long-term supply chain resilience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture)
- 6–8 years of experience in Contract Farming, agricultural procurement, agri-input sales, or agri-supply chain management
- Strong experience working with potato farming ecosystems, cold storage operations, and farmer engagement in North Bengal, Bihar, or similar geographies
- Demonstrated ability to manage government stakeholders, FPOs, traders, transporters, and cold storage partners
- Proven leadership skills with experience in leading field teams and driving regional business outcomes
Desired Qualifications
- MBA/Postgraduate qualification in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Marketing, or Supply Chain
