Job Summary
Tax-focused Assistant Manager role delivering high-quality tax compliance services for partnerships and corporations. Responsibilities include tax compliance and provision engagements, identifying tax technical issues, interaction with State and Local Tax and International Tax teams, leading and guiding associates, delivering multi-disciplinary team outputs, and advancing technology-enabled delivery (e.g., Alteryx, data tools). Requires leading teams, reviewing work, and mentoring associates, with strong client-service orientation, time management, and communication skills. Professional emphasis on advanced tax knowledge in areas such as Partnerships, Corporate, State or International Tax, and experience with relevant tax software and MS Office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or MBA finance
- 3-4 years of tax compliance experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm
- Excellent communication and time management skills; flexible and adaptable team player; resourceful in delivering high quality work
- Demonstrated quality service mindset and ability to handle multiple engagements and prioritize tasks
