Job Summary
Assistant Manager - Sales at BookMyShow leads BFSI partnerships end-to-end, managing alliances with banks, NBFCs, payment networks, fintechs, and loyalty platforms. Responsible for identifying and closing new partnerships to unlock revenue, build and manage a pipeline with long sales cycles, and drive end-to-end offer campaigns (card discounts, cashback, redemptions) across payment instruments and issuer categories. Serves as a subject-matter expert on card economics, negotiates and activates campaigns, tracks performance, reconciling with partners and coordinating with finance, product, and tech teams. Requires strong deal-structuring, commercial acumen, and Excel proficiency; 6–8 years of relevant experience expected.
Required Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience in alliances, partnerships, or business development
- Demonstrated track record of independently closing partnerships and managing accounts with P&L accountability
- Prior exposure to co-brand credit cards, loyalty programmes, or payment product structuring is a strong advantage
- Experience navigating long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder deal environments
- Strong commercial acumen able to build business cases, structure deal economics, and evaluate partnership ROI independently
- Advanced Excel skills: comfortable with large datasets, VLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables, scenario modelling, and reconciliation workflows
- High ownership mindset, you are equally comfortable signing a new partner and fixing an offer configuration issue beyond regular hours, to ensure the campaign goes live.
