Job Summary
Lead planning, execution, and coordination of Signal & Telecommunication projects across all phases, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality benchmarks. Manage design works by providing technical guidance, reviewing engineering drawings and specifications, and checking deliverables against approved standards. Coordinate closely with design, site, safety, and QA teams to align on technical requirements and timelines while tracking schedules and addressing bottlenecks. Prepare detailed technical reports, Daily Progress Reports, and status updates for stakeholders, and support client and safety authority inspections by addressing findings and implementing corrective actions. Assist in supervising subcontractors and facilitate design reviews and interface management sessions. Maintain accurate project records and drawings in compliance with protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related field
- Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive experience in railway Signal & Telecommunication systems
- At least 3 years in a supervisory or coordination role
- Proven experience in managing design reviews, technical checks, and approvals for S&T systems in large-scale railway projects
- Strong understanding of railway signaling standards (e.g., ETCS, CBTC, ITC, or national equivalents)
- Strong understanding of communication systems (e.g., GSM-R, LTE-R), and safety-critical systems
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and technical documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and quality
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and manage subcontractor performance effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information clearly to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with project compliance frameworks, QA/QC processes, and regulatory requirements (e.g., RDSO, AAR, UIC, or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel to project sites and work under challenging field conditions when required

- Postgraduate qualification or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent)
