Job Summary

Assistant Manager role supporting the store manager to ensure efficient, compliant operations and maximize sales. Responsible for customer service leadership, enforcing company policies, maintaining clean and organized store appearance, developing staff, responding to emergencies, executing merchandising and marketing programs (including plan-o-grams and signage), driving sales initiatives, supervising store transactions, ensuring product freshness and proper rotation, and completing reports and performance appraisals. Requires leadership, communication, knowledge of retail practices, and experience in supervisory roles; involves lifting and physical duties and availability for varied shifts.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Completion of the Assistant Store Manager Training program and other relevant Company required training programs and required certifications
  • Good understanding of Company systems and technology
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
  • Knowledge of retail business management practices
  • Knowledge of all types of store transactions and related programs
  • Knowledge of ways to handle customer and employee injuries, incidents and accidents
