Job Summary
Assist the Store Manager as a directly supporting leader to drive store performance. Oversees customer service leadership for the store, ensures compliance with company policies, maintains clean and organized store appearance, develops staff, and promotes selling initiatives. Manages daily operations, merchandising programs (plan-o-grams and sign placement), and risk/safety procedures while ensuring timely completion of store reports and performance appraisals. Requires supervisory experience, strong communication, knowledge of retail systems, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings. Demonstrates leadership to coach employees, develop talent, and foster a customer-driven environment while ensuring asset controls and compliance with laws and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Retail experience / Customer Service Experience Required
- Completion of the Assistant Store Manager Training program and other relevant Company required training programs and required certifications
- Good understanding of Company systems and technology
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to research and resolve issues
- Knowledge of retail business management practices
- Knowledge of all types of store transactions and related programs
- Knowledge of ways to handle customer and employee injuries, incidents and accidents
