Job Summary

Lead the entire store operation by staffing, training, and developing leadership teams to deliver sales and profit results while maintaining Company standards. Manage Stockroom, Front End, and Sales Floor functions to ensure timely merchandise flow, proper receiving, and expense control through best practices. Analyze store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and performance, addressing variances with action plans and partnering with District Management as needed. Recruit, hire, and develop Assistant Managers, Area Supervisors, and Associates, utilizing retention tools to reduce turnover while addressing personnel issues through coaching and progressive discipline. Oversee payroll administration, including daily punch edits and Sunday transmissions, and lead expenditures within budget while ensuring compliance with all state, local, and federal regulations. Maintain a safe, secure environment by enforcing safety policies and emergency procedures, and supervise retail associates in delivering efficient customer service across registers, the sales floor, and fitting rooms. Model professional appearance and brand standards, ensuring a clean, neat environment and executing merchandise processing, markdowns, and loss prevention programs to meet store shortage goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment
  • Must maintain a high level of Customer service
  • Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop Associates at all levels
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks necessary to accomplish goals, develop a schedule to complete tasks and execute to achieve results
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment and discretion
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Ability to use all Store equipment, including PDTs, registers, and PC as required
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store
  • Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop
  • Ability to occasionally push, pull and lift more than 25 lbs
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
