Job Summary
Manage food service operations by preparing, assembling, and serving dining options while overseeing sanitation and equipment maintenance. Supervise dining staff to ensure quality customer service, train team members, and lead by example in welcoming students, faculty, and staff. Handle food and beverage sales, including cash management, deposits, and inventory control through the point-of-sale system. Collaborate on supply ordering and budget management to support departmental revenue goals. Work 10am to 6:30pm Sunday through Thursday with flexibility during academic breaks.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in related field
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Equivalent combination of experience and education
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Knowledge of food service production and service techniques and standards
- Knowledge of food sanitation and safety standards and protocols
- Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS) systems operation and management
- Skill in time management, organization, and multi-tasking in high volume environments
- Skill in identifying, evaluating, developing, and implementing solutions to resolve complex problems
- Ability to plan, delegate, train, and coach the work of others
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
