Job Summary
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff of Member Service Representatives, trainers, and custodians. Oversee member service to ensure superior customer experiences, manage front desk activities including phone inquiries, new member sign-ups, and facility tours. Provide backup support to the Club Manager and staff, resolve employee issues, and oversee facility cleanliness and supply ordering within budget. Track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics and reports. Work five days per week in a 40-to-45-hour schedule, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
Required Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Current CPR Certification
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
