Job Summary
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff of Member Service Representatives, trainers, and custodians. Oversee member service to ensure superior customer experiences, manage front desk activities including phone inquiries, and facilitate new member sign-ups and facility tours. Provide backup support to the Club Manager, supervise staff scheduling, and resolve employee issues or concerns. Assist in maintaining facility cleanliness, ordering supplies within budget, and tracking weekly, monthly, and annual statistics. Work five days per week in a schedule of approximately 40 to 45 hours.
Required Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry.
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite).
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
- Strong problem resolution skills.
- Current CPR Certification required.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and alone during shifts as business needs require.
- Candidate should expect to work five days per week, and approximately a 40-to-45-hour work schedule depending on hourly or salary status.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness is preferred but not required.
