Job Summary
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians. Oversee member service by ensuring staff provides superior customer experiences, resolving escalated employee issues, and facilitating all member requests. Manage front desk activities including answering phones, conducting new member sign-ups, and taking prospective members on tours. Support the Club Manager with scheduling, facility cleanliness, supply ordering, and tracking weekly, monthly, and annual statistics. Provide backup coverage for any absent employees. Work five days per week in a 40-to-45-hour schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Current CPR Certification
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
