Job Summary
Assist in overseeing gym operations and drive a premier member experience at Planet Fitness. Lead and develop staff including Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians; manage scheduling, front desk activities, member sign-ups and tours; resolve staff issues; oversee cleanliness and facility maintenance; monitor budgets and generate weekly/monthly/annual reports; uphold exceptional customer service and a welcoming atmosphere; provide backup support to the Club Manager; promote professional development and advancement within the management track. Requires strong customer service, supervisory and problem-solving skills, proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and a high school diploma or GED; CPR certification required (can be completed upon hire). The role typically involves five days per week with an estimated 40- to 45-hour schedule depending on status.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
- Current CPR Certification required (can complete upon hire)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
