Job Summary
Assistant Manager with 1-2+ years supervisory experience in casual-dining environments; responsible for operational excellence, guest experience, staff development, and financial performance. Oversees cleanliness, safety, food quality, guest complaints, scheduling, and training; leads and motivates team to meet Applebee’s standards; assists with inventory control, cost management, and profitability; maintains open communication with staff, vendors, and internal teams. Requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays; physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; strong problem-solving and hospitality focus. Compensation includes $42,000-$55,000/year plus quarterly bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2+ years of supervisory experience in casual dining preferred
- Experience teaching and training staff preferred
- Strong personal and professional integrity
- Ability to deal with confidential information and/or issues using discretion and good judgment
- Passion to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Ability to solve problems on the go
- Passion for hospitality and interacting with guests
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
