Job Summary
Quality-focused professional with experience in inspection planning, NDT coordination, and audit compliance. Responsible for preparing package stage-wise inspection plans for shop floor activities, coordinating Non-Destructive Testing, preparing quality dossiers for customer approval, conducting ISO 9001 and EHS audits, identifying gaps in engineering practices and implementing corrective actions, coordinating with Engineering/Procurement/Operations for defect-free supply, handling post-order customer feedback on quality issues, and performing shop inspections across stages (Visual Dimension checks, Hydro tests, Mechanical Run Tests, Performance Tests, Blasting, Painting, Pickling/Passivation). The role requires hands-on QA/QC leadership, liaison with customers, and experience with fabrication materials and welding processes (GTAW, FCAW, SMAW) and inspection standards (IGC, NACE, HIC).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent
- 12-15 years of Experience in Quality Assurance & Control of Rotary components & skid manufacturing
- ASNT NDT Level-II in PT, RT, UT, VT
- Welding Inspection certification (CWI, IWE) and Auditor certification in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 (advantage)
