Job Summary

Direct the activities of the Purchase department and implement the company’s policies, guidelines and procedures to work efficiently and effectively. Allocate suppliers based on vendor capacity and location; survey the market for new products and suppliers; supervise Receiving Clerk and manage Food and Beverage requisitions, non-food purchases, and par level controls. Prioritize purchases, prepare and invite tenders and contracts to ensure regular supply of materials; monitor government legislation for import of equipment and materials; coordinate with department coordinators, supervisors and other department managers to ensure operational readiness and prompt delivery of services.
