Job Summary
Assistant Media Planner – Programmatic at WPP Media focuses on supporting planning, execution, optimization, and reporting of programmatic advertising campaigns across digital platforms. You will work with internal teams, technology partners, publishers, and clients to deliver data-driven media solutions, develop audience targeting and bidding strategies, and contribute to data-driven media recommendations and client presentations. The role emphasizes collaboration, campaign setup and trafficking, performance monitoring, and optimization, with a pathway to independent campaign execution within 6-12 months. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of programmatic/media planning experience, plus strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and knowledge of DSPs/ad-serving platforms; certifications in Google Marketing Platform, DV360, or Google Analytics are advantageous. Hybrid work arrangement is noted, with an office presence in Karachi, Pakistan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Media Sciences, or a related field
- 1+ years of experience in Programmatic Media, Digital Media Planning, Digital Marketing, or Media Buying
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of DSPs, ad-serving platforms, and programmatic ecosystems is preferred
- Certifications in Google Marketing Platform, DV360, Google Analytics, or other relevant digital platforms will be an advantage
