Job Summary
Assistant Manager - Procurement responsible for developing and executing robust category strategies, driving end-to-end sourcing through RFPs/RFQs, leading supplier selection and performance management, ensuring uninterrupted supply and change-management for new product introductions, and enforcing compliance and governance across procurement activities. Collaborate with regional/global category teams and business stakeholders to align sourcing with priorities, lead contract development and negotiations with Legal, monitor supplier performance with scorecards and quarterly business reviews, and drive cost reduction, working capital optimization, and total cost improvements. Required to have an MBA and 2+ years in supply chain roles, with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and English communication; proficient in SAP/Coupa/PowerBI; APICS or similar certifications preferred.
Required Qualifications
- MBA from premier Institute
- 2+ years of Work experience in supply chain roles
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Strong communication in English
- System knowledge (SAP/Coupa/PowerBI)
- APICS or similar certifications
