Job Summary
Assistant Manager for a Popeyes restaurant location in Chesterton, IN. Oversees daily operations by scheduling labor, ordering food and supplies, and developing the restaurant team; ensures OSHA, health and safety code compliance, and company safety procedures; maintains inventory and manages labor while reviewing financial reports and taking corrective actions; ensures adherence to Human Resources practices and labor laws; recruits, interviews, hires, counsels, and trains team members; drives store sales using Local Store Marketing and community involvement; provides maintenance oversight to keep equipment and facilities in good condition; requires at least six months of Popeyes managerial experience or one year of General Manager experience with another concept, plus strong communication, data analysis, leadership, and P&L interpretation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Six months of Popeyes managerial experience or one year of General Manager experience with another concept or an equivalent recommendation by the Area Manager
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to calculate and analyze data
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels
- Ability to interpret Profit and Loss Statements
- Computer literacy and proficiency with relevant software
