Job Summary
Assistant Restaurant Manager responsible for day-to-day operations including labor scheduling, inventory control, safety/compliance with OSHA and health codes, and development of the restaurant team. Responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, hiring, conducting performance appraisals, coaching and training staff, driving sales to meet store plans via Local Store Marketing and community involvement, maintaining equipment and facilities through a preventative maintenance approach, ensuring HR practices and labor law compliance, and interpreting financial statements (P&L) with data-driven actions. Requires prior managerial experience in Popeyes or GM experience in another concept, strong communication, leadership, data analysis, and computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of six months Popeyes managerial experience or one year General Manager experience with another concept OR recommended by Area Manager
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to calculate and analyze data
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels
- Ability to interpret Profit and Loss Statements
- Computer literate
