Job Summary
As the Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing store operations and staff, with duties including staffing, hiring, training, mentoring, and implementing disciplinary actions. You’ll work with owners to hit store performance metrics and share in profits, foster a team culture aligned with our 7 Core Values, and adapt to changes to help the store grow. The role emphasizes customer service, team leadership, and involvement in margin goals and cost-of-goods understanding, alongside responsibilities for day-to-day store functions and ensuring smooth operations.
Required Qualifications
- Prior management experience (retail preferred, but not required)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good with numbers. We'll teach you what our margin goals are, how to calculate cost of goods, etc.
- Able to stand for long periods of time and safely lift 50lbs without assistance
