Job Summary
Assistant Manager is a key leader responsible for overseeing the Sales Associate team, including hiring, onboarding, mentoring, coaching, and performance management to uphold Disc Replay’s customer-service culture. The role drives the customer experience, monitors feedback, ensures adherence to store processes, leads shifts, supports hiring and screenings, and reports on KPI metrics related to customer reviews and scores. It requires retail management experience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to train and develop others, and the capacity to maintain an organized, process-driven store environment. Physical ability to stand long periods and lift 50 lbs is noted as part of store duties.
Required Qualifications
- Previous retail experience, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of customer service best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Disc Replay’s product categories (video games, electronics, movies, collectibles) is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time and safely lift 50lbs without assistance
