Job Summary
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing staff for Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians. Oversee member service by ensuring superior customer experiences, resolving employee issues, and facilitating member requests. Manage front desk activities including answering phones, checking members in, handling new sign-ups, and conducting tours. Provide backup support to the Club Manager for scheduling, facility cleanliness, supply ordering, and statistical reporting. Maintain a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to customer service guidelines. Current CPR certification required for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Current CPR Certification required
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
