Job Summary
Assist in the oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional member experience and a financially successful club. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff (Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians), maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, supervising staff, scheduling, ensuring superior customer service, resolving employee issues, managing front desk activities (phones, member check-ins, tours), overseeing cleanliness and facility maintenance, ordering supplies within budget, and tracking statistics/reports. Requires strong customer service, supervisory and problem-resolution skills, basic computer proficiency, high energy, CPR certification, and 18+ years of age.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current CPR Certification
- Experience as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness (preferred)
