Job Summary
Assist in oversight of gym operations to ensure an exceptional member experience and a financially successful club. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training and developing staff (Member Service Representatives, Trainers and Custodians); maintaining a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring staff follow superior customer service guidelines; providing backup support to the Club Manager; scheduling and supervising staff; overseeing member service and resolving employee issues. Involve front desk duties such as answering phones, checking members in, new member sign-ups, member tours, and handling member requests. Help oversee facility cleanliness and maintenance, assist with ordering supplies within budget, and track statistics and reports. CPR certification, high school diploma/GED, and being at least 18 years old are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- Current CPR Certification
- Superior customer service skills
- Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Must be 18 year of age or older
