Job Summary
Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing a high-performing staff of Member Service Representatives, Trainers, and Custodians while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all members and guests. Provide backup support to the Club Manager by scheduling and supervising staff, overseeing member service, and resolving employee issues. Manage front desk activities including answering phones, checking members into the system, new sign-ups, tours, and facilitating member requests. Oversee facility cleanliness, order supplies within budget, and track weekly, monthly, and annual statistics. Requires current CPR certification, experience as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness, and ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 lbs during shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Superior customer service skills, preferably in the fitness industry
- Experience working as a Member Service Representative at Planet Fitness
- Solid supervisory, diplomacy and listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Suite)
- Hard working, enthusiastic and energetic!
- Strong problem resolution skills
- Current CPR Certification required
- High school diploma/GED equivalent required
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
