Job Summary
Lead team members to complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner while assisting the club manager with oversight of club operations. Greet members and guests, resolve concerns, and handle membership functions including sign-ups, billing updates, and cancellations. Execute retail transactions, perform prospective member tours, and manage inventory and supply ordering. Conduct regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities, address maintenance issues, and provide backup staffing support. Track KPIs to identify strengths and opportunities, support hiring and onboarding, and assist in emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Willing to become CPR/AED Certified (Training provided by Planet Fitness)
Desired Qualifications
- 9-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred
- 9-12 months of experience supervising and leading team is preferred
- Exhibit a positive and upbeat attitude
- Have a passion for delivering a consistent and exceptional experience to our members, guests and fellow PF team members
- Are a team player who prides yourself on being punctual, reliable and dependable
- Handle all interactions with diplomacy and exhibit a genuine motivation for helping others
- Are comfortable guiding and supporting team members to complete tasks
- Act with integrity and show respect to everyone around you; act as a role model
- Exhibit strong communication skills and have an ability to listen and empathize
- Quickly apply information you learned during the online and hands on training
- Enjoy coaching and leading others to success
- Can comfortably manage through conflict
- Basic computer proficiency
