Job Summary
Assistant Manager – Peterbrooke Chocolatier in Ponte Vedra, FL supports the General Manager in overseeing daily store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring food-safety standards and guest experience. Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, cash handling, promotions, staff training and scheduling, inventory counts, customer service, upselling, local marketing support, and maintaining a welcoming, organized store environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of retail, customer service, food service, or hospitality experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer and point-of-sale system proficiency
