Job Summary
As an Assistant Manager at Petco, lead store partners on the sales floor to deliver exceptional customer experiences while upholding Petco’s animal care standards. Serve as a role model for Petco values, coach partners to strengthen selling skills and pet care knowledge, assist with hiring and onboarding, and drive daily store operations to meet merchandising, inventory, and performance goals. Act as the on-floor leader in the General Manager’s absence, ensure a safe, welcoming environment for pets and people, and contribute to achieving health, safety, and service excellence across the Pet Care Center.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of retail experience, including supervisory or management experience.
