Assistant Manager, Patient Care (RN) - SICU/Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Manages and leads the patient care unit team during the assigned shift, ensuring high-quality, patient- and family-centered care. Develops and implements methods and analytical approaches to patient care; communicates and builds consensus to achieve department objectives; promotes evidence-based, ethical, and compassionate practice; provides guidance for hiring, promotions, and performance reviews; serves as a role model for professional standards and oversees education of team members on department systems and procedures. Maintains regulatory compliance with JC, CMS, New York State, DOH, and HIPAA, and contributes to budgeting and care delivery improvements.
