Assistant Manager, Patient Care (RN) SICU/Surgical Intensive Care Unit

Manage team members, operations, and patient care activities within the SICU/Surgical ICU during assigned shifts. Collaborate with nursing management to develop patient care methods, guide team members toward department objectives, and ensure adherence to care delivery models and regulatory standards including JC, CMS, and HIPAA. Provide direction, conduct performance reviews, and educate staff on new procedures while serving as a role model for professional practice. Interpret policies for the team, identify opportunities to improve care delivery using evidence-based strategies, and provide input on budget allocations. Maintain current knowledge of healthcare legislation and population health to supervise direct patient care and support high-quality, family-centered outcomes.
