Assistant Manager, Patient Care

Manage team members, operations, and patient care activities within a patient care unit during assigned shifts while maintaining a professional environment that supports high-quality, family-centered care. Collaborate with nursing leadership to develop care methods, guide team members toward department objectives, and interpret policies for staff adherence. Provide direction during shifts, conduct performance reviews, and offer input on hiring, promotions, and budget allocations. Ensure unit compliance with JC, CMS, New York State, and HIPAA regulations while demonstrating core clinical competencies for the oversight population.
