Assistant Manager responsible for maintaining store staff through interviewing, hiring, and developing employees; creating a positive environment for staff and customers; meeting performance metrics and helping develop employees to meet metrics; analyzing daily sales to maximize revenue; ensuring banking, safety, and legal compliance; controlling expenses related to labor, inventory, and maintenance; assigning and following up on daily tasks to keep the store clean, stocked, and organized; delivering exceptional customer service and resolving issues; training through a 5-week manager-training course and advancing employees. Skills emphasized include supervisory experience, motivational leadership, customer service, store operations, sales analysis, team management, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 year of supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively motivate others
- Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
- High school diploma or equivalent
